Faith & Feelings
Every child experiences big emotions. ZURIO helps children understand their feelings through Bible stories, our character friends, and creative reflection activities.
Important: ZURIO provides faith-based encouragement for children's emotional wellbeing and is not a medical or clinical service.
If your child is experiencing severe emotional distress, please consult a healthcare professional or counselor.
How ZURIO Supports Children's Feelings
Animated Bible Stories
Each week, Aisha, Meshack, and Jay discover Bible characters who faced big emotions. Children see themselves in these stories and learn how faith provides comfort.
Character Conversations
Our three friends talk about feelings openly. Children hear that all emotions are normal and that God cares about how they feel.
Reflection Activities
Printable workbooks help children process emotions through drawing, writing, and creative play. Parents can guide conversations together.

Faith & Feelings is Perfect For...
Children in Hospital Wards
When a child is in the hospital, big emotions ariseβfear about procedures, sadness about missing home, worry about their health. ZURIO provides spiritual comfort during these difficult moments.
Children Going Through Difficult Situations
Loss, family changes, bullying, or grief can overwhelm children. Faith & Feelings gives them language for their emotions and reminds them God is present.
Traveling & Nomadic Families
For families who move frequently or travel, consistent faith formation is challenging. ZURIO brings a spiritual community wherever they are.
Children Who Can't Attend Church
Whether due to distance, disability, or circumstance, some children lack regular access to faith community. ZURIO bridges that gap.
Faith & Feelings Activities
Feelings Journal
Children draw or write about their emotions after watching an episode. Prompts help them connect Bible stories to their own experiences.
Emotion Craft
Hands-on activities like emotion masks, feeling wheels, or prayer boxes help children express and process what they're experiencing.
Simple Prayers
Age-appropriate prayers for different emotions. Children learn to express their feelings to God in words that feel natural to them.
Reflection Worksheets
Thoughtful questions help children think deeper about their feelings and what God's Word says about them.
Tips for Parents & Caregivers
Listen Without Judgment
When your child shares feelings, listen with curiosity. Say things like "Tell me more" or "I hear that you're feeling sad." Avoid dismissing emotions as "not a big deal."
Name Emotions Together
Help your child put words to feelings. "Your body feels tightβthat might be anxiety. Let's talk about it." Naming emotions is the first step to managing them.
Connect to Bible Stories
After an episode, ask: "How did David feel? How do you think he prayed? Have you felt that way?" This helps children see themselves in Scripture.
Pray Together
Simple prayers about feelings are powerful. "God, my child is feeling scared. Please help them feel safe" teaches children that God cares about their emotions.
Know When to Seek Help
If emotions persist, interfere with daily life, or if your child expresses harm to themselves, please reach out to a mental health professional. Faith & Feelings supports but does not replace professional care.
